Retrofitted slurry pumps manufactured by HMS Group confirm high efficiency

Retrofitted slurry pumping units manufactured by Bobruisk Machine Building Plant (HMS Group) have confirmed their efficiency and reliability in the course of trial run at the sylvinite washing plants of Belaruskali.

The pumping units based on centrifugal single-stage overhung pumps type 1GrAU 800/40-V with 800 m³/h capacity and 40 m head are equipped with energy-saving motors and are intended for pumping of potassium chloride 30% solution with admixed sand and clay in the grinding departments of washing plants. Due to flow paths made of Ni-resist alloy the endurance of the pumps is significantly increased and operational costs are reduced.

The retrofitted pumping units have been supplied to the customer in the first quarter of 2015 and ever since the equipment has been showing compliance with all the stated parameters as well as its high reliability and efficiency. Bobruisk Machine Building Plant has a successful long-term cooperation with Belaruskali in yearly supplies of slurry and sand pumping units.

The HMS Group is one of the leading in Russia and the CIS manufacturer of pumps, compressors and skid-mounted oilfield equipment for oil & gas, nuclear and thermal energy, and water supply & sewage disposal sector, as well as provider of integrated solutions. The HMS Group’s global depositary receipts (“GDRs”) are listed under the symbol “HMSG” on the London Stock Exchange.
