NIIturbokompressor manufactures compressor system for Bashkir Soda Company

R&D Institute NIIturbokompressor, a part of HMS Group, has designed and manufactured integrally geared centrifugal compressor system for Bashkir Soda Company.

Integrally geared centrifugal compressor system GCM-83/3-7.5 with 15 088 Nm³/h capacity and 7.5 bar discharge pressure is equipped with 800 kW electric motor drive, high-precision control instruments and is intended for circulation gas compression in the vinyl chloride production system.

Technical solutions applied under this project meet all the specifics of operation and customer’s requirements ensuring high operational reliability and energy efficiency of the new compressor system.

The new compressor system is delivered for replacement of GC-86/3-7.2 compressor system to be decommissioned. The latter system was manufactured and delivered by NIIturbokompressor back in the middle of 1990s and successfully operated onsite for over 20 years.
