HMS Group to manufacture pumping units for the Kalinin Nuclear Power Plant

The integrated commercial company of HMS Group – HYDROMASHSERVICE – has won a contract for the supply of six pumping units for the Kalinin Nuclear Power Plant (Tver Region).

ACNA pumping units with 5000 m³/h capacity and 32 m head were developed in compliance with up-to-date norms and regulations of the nuclear power industry and demonstrate high efficiency (over 85%) and the increased operational life. The pumps have the safety class 2 and are used in an intermediate circuit of an emergency raw cooling water system.

HYDROMASHSERVICE has successful experience in supplies of pumps for nuclear power companies including the Kalinin Nuclear Power Plant. In 2014 – 2015 the company supplied to this customer a number of pumping units based on CNA, KsD and AS-NMSH pumps manufactured by HMS Group companies.
