HMS Group developed a new pump type CNS for FPM

OJSC “HMS Group” finished operational testing and carried out the whole range of commissioning and introduction works for the new pumping unit CNS 315-1900 to apply in the formation pressure maintenance system (FPM) at the Priobsky oilfield (LLC “RN-Yuganskneftegaz”). The main aim of integrating the new equipment is the efficiency growth of oil extraction by means of pressure boost ensured by the new pump.

The new pumping unit fully complies with the customer’s technical assignment and maintains pressure not less than 220 kgf/cm² pumping water into oil-bearing formations with the supply flow rate of 200 m³/h. The uniqueness of this development of the designers of “HMS Group” consists in the higher pressure provided by the given pump (rated head is 2200 m) in comparison to pumps type CNS 180, CNS 240 (rated head is 1900 m) traditionally applied in the FPM system, pipeline connection dimensions and electric motor power being identical.
