HMS Group JSC will participate in the international conference "Machine mining 2010"

HMS Group JSC will participate in the international conference "Machine mining 2010", which will take place from April 21 to April 23, 2010 in the hotel Renaissance Moscow. At the conference, the head of the Oil and Gas Equipment Department of HYDROMASHSERVICE JSC, A.P. Nesterov, will speak on "Solutions to problems related to oil production by reservoir pressure maintenance using high-pressure pumps (centrifugal pumps)".

A.P. Nesterov will present his report on April 23 at the session "Intellectual systems for management and optimization of oil production".

The report will address the most frequent causes of failures and repairs of pumping equipment in reservoir pressure maintenance systems and propose solutions to increase reliability of equipment developed by PPORD experts of HMS Group JSC. Particularly, it will describe methods to increase performance reliability of axial force release unit and face seals of the pump as well as capacities of the Group to modernize the liquid end of the pump while retaining the existing parts of the pump case and, accordingly, the overall and connection dimensions.

The report will cover the important issue of how to choose the right equipment for reservoir pressure maintenance. One of the advantages of HMS Group JSC in this area is a wide range of standard sizes of the pumps produced which includes almost all consumption (25 - 720 cu.m./hour) and pressure (300 – 2,200 m) parameters needed by the Customer. Company staff also promptly develops individual solutions capable of adapting the parameters of pumping equipment to individual requirements of the Customer's system, which reduces energy consumption considerably and increases the service life of the pumping equipment.
