Nasosenergomash JSC has shipped feed pumps PTA 3750-75-3 for the Kalininskaya Nuclear Power Plant

In May 2010, Nasosenergomash JSC , a member of HMS Group JSC , shipped yet another set of pumping equipment for the Kalininskaya Nuclear Power Plant – feed pumps PTA 3750-75-3.

 

The contract has been entered into with the general civil engineering contractor, Power Machines JSC in 2008 as a result of winning the tender; it provides for supply of 11 units of pumping equipment, including:

 

·          feed booster pumps PTS 3800-20-3 (Q = 3,800 m3/h, H = 160 m);

 

·          feed pumps PTS 3750-75-3 (Q = 3,750 m3/h, H = 860 m);

 

·          condensate pumps AKsVA 125-55 (Q = 75 m3/h, H = 55 m, n = 2,950 rpm),

 

·          circulation water pumping units AD 3200-75-3 (Q = 2,500 m3/h, H = 42 m).

 

The major part of the pumping equipment under the contract has already been manufactured and shipped. The manufactured equipment is successfully undergoing acceptance tests, which are performed in the presence of representatives from the Customer and FGUP VO “Bezopasnost”.

 

This pumping equipment has been specifically designed for the project of Block No4 of the Kaliniskaya Nuclear Power Plant with regard to requirements of design organizations and the Customer. The enterprise provides the complete set of services to the Customer, including installation supervision, commissioning and startup operations, warranty servicing, spare parts supply during the entire operating life of the pump.

Similar pumping equipment produced at the enterprise has been successfully operated at numerous power plants in Russia (the Novovoronezhskaya, Kalininskaya, Balakovskaya, and Rostovskaya Nuclear Power Plants), the Ukraine (the Zaporizhzhya, South-Ukraine, Rivne, and Khmelnytska Nuclear Power Plants), as well as in Bulgaria (the Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant), India (the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant), China (the Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant), and other countries.
