Rostovsky Vodokanalproekt developed project of liquidation and recultivation of buffer marshes for LUKOIL-Volgogradneftepererabotka

Institute “Rostovsky Vodokanalproekt” JSC worked out design documentation for activities on liquidation of buffer marshes and recultivation of soil in the place of the marshes No.1 and No.2 for LLC “LUKOIL-Volgogradneftepererabotka”.

The buffer marshes were used for excess waste water and as buffer vessels for averaging the composition of waste water and settling it at purification. Liquidation of these marshes is carried out by LLC “LUKOIL-Volgogradneftepererabotka” in connection with changes to the waste water purification technology. As a result of recultivation activities the initial relief of terrain is reproduced and extra areas are created for use. Thus, the soil contaminated with oil sludge gets a second life.

LLC “LUKOIL-Volgogradneftepererabotka” is a permanent partner of the Institute “Rostovsky Vodokanalproekt”. The Institute participates efficiently in solving large-scale production and ecological problems of the oil refinery. For the moment “Rostovsky Vodokanalproekt” has implemented for this refinery a number of major projects among which there are: reconstruction of the industrial waste landfill, preparing design documentation on recultivation and liquidation of water development facilities of the sludge collector No. 1, etc.
