HMS Group has launched the pump overhaul and upgrade program for the oil transportation

The associated trading company HYDROMASHSERVICE of the HMS Group signed a contract with Severnye Magistralnye Nefteprovody, a part of Transneft, to overhaul 6 mainline pumping NM-type units. This is the first agreement under the 2012 bidding campaign to overhaul and upgrade pumps for oil transportation.

The HMS Group will execute the full range of repair & renovation operations to deliver the outcome in the technical parameters restoration complying with the stated in the technical specifications and design documentation. At the same time we introduce modern design solutions that will improve the pumps reliability. Particularly, oil cleaning systems with the hydrocyclone separators and oil circulation system to cool the mechanical seal are supplied with pumps to improve the mechanical seals’ performance, stabilize the temperature, increase their reliability.

Pumping units overhaul and upgrade with the restoration of the respective characteristics and longer life cycle are vital and relevant issues for oil transportation companies. Currently HYDROMASHSERVICE successfully finishes the 2011 program of mainline pumps’ overhaul and upgrade for Transneft. Overall, since 2008 more than 100 pumps were repaired and upgraded for companies of Transneft.
