Kazancompressormash implements new material cutting technology

Two high-performance Soitaab (Italy) waterjet cutters were put into operation at Kazancompressormash (HMS Group).

New WATERLINE 2060-1H-50HP machines with 2000x6000 mm working area enable cutting of virtually all types of materials without mechanical and thermal deformation of workpieces. One of the machines is equipped with a 3D head for cutting workpieces at up to 60 degree angle providing complex cutting of workpieces with chamfering.

The implementation of the new technology is carried out under the long-term investment program of modernization of Kazancompressormash manufacturing facilities, which aims to increase production volume of state-of-the-art and reliable compressor equipment. As a part of the program the latest generation NC machining centers by the leading global manufacturers had already been purchased and installed resulting in the significant increase of the accuracy of machining and reduction of the lead time.

The HMS Group is one of the leading in Russia and the CIS manufacturer of pumps, compressors and skid-mounted oilfield equipment for oil & gas, nuclear and thermal energy, and water supply & sewage disposal sector, as well as provider of integrated solutions. The HMS Group’s global depositary receipts (“GDRs”) are listed under the symbol “HMSG” on the London Stock Exchange.
