HMS Group manufactures gas compression system for Yuzhno-Balykskiy Gas Processing Plant

Kazancompressormash, a part of the HMS Group, has manufactured a complete gas compression system for the project of reconstruction of Yuzhno-Balykskiy Gas Processing Plant (SiburTyumenGaz).

Gas compression system with 170 000 Nm³/h capacity and 80 bar discharge pressure based on 4GC2-242/12-80 compressor system and 18 MW gas turbine drive is intended for compression of dry stripped gas coming from gas treatment units (GTU-1 and GTU-2), and its subsequent feed to the low-temperature condensation and rectification unit and further to the main gas pipeline.

The design solutions applied to this compressor system are similar to those previously used for the gas compression system 6GC2-375/4-77 successfully operating at Vyngapur GPP (SiburTyumenGaz) since 2012. The compressor system is completed with dry gas seals, redundant air-cooled oil coolers and a bypass valve located within the housing of the compressor system. Applied solutions provide increased operational reliability, serviceability and extended operational life of the equipment.

Complete compressor system has successfully passed factory witness testing confirming all the declared features of the equipment.
