HMS Group to produce pumping equipment for Beloyarsk nuclear station

HYDROMASHSERVICE, the joint trade company of HMS Group, signed an agreement with Kolomensky plant for production and delivery of AS NMSH type gear wheel pumps lot designed for completing the diesel generating sets that the plant is going to deliver to Beloyarsk nuclear station.

The pumping equipment will be produced on HMS Pumps which has a license of Federal Service for technological and nuclear supervision. This allows the company to develop and produce the pumping equipment for nuclear plants in strict conformity with the rules and regulations for nuclear power usage which is verified by the prefix AS.

Beloyarsk nuclear plant, situated in Sverdlovsk region, is the second nuclear station in terms of capacity in Russia and the only station with different types of reactor on one site. The plant disposes one of the most powerful solid-fuel fast reactors in the world. The new 4th energy unit with the total capacity of 880 MW is being constructed on the plant at present.
