HMS Group continues shipments of production modules of the Central Oil Gathering Station at the Vankorskoye Oil Field

Neftemash JSC, a member of HMS Group, continues shipments of production modules of the Central Oil Gathering Station at the Vankorskoye Oil Field. The equipment is supplied under the contract entered into by the company with Vankorneft JSC, a subsidiary of NK Rosneft JSC. At this moment, Neftemash has shipped 1,734 pieces of railway freight of module equipment, which amounts to about 50% of the entire order.

Contract conditions include manufacture and supply of equipment, installation supervision and commissioning works for 11 module units, including oil and water pumping modules, processing train pumps modules, reservoir pressure maintenance system modules, fire-fighting pumps modules, etc.

Complexity of the project includes significant weight and dimension parameters of the modules, as well as their high technological intensity. General dimensions of one of constructions designated for the processing train amount to 34 m lengthwise, 15 m widthwise, and 16 m heightwise. These parameters are twice larger than the sizes of standard complete package equipment (for example, a water injection station).

In order to equip the modules of the Central Oil Gathering Station at the Vankorskoye Oil Field, HMS Group has developed over 20 various types of pumping units, involved in most technological systems of the oil field. The high technological level and quality of the pumping equipment being manufactured have been confirmed by benchmarks tests, including taking power, cavitation sensivity, vibration, and noise characteristics together with representatives from Vankorneft CJSC. The pumps’ reliability and technical-and-economic efficiency indices (operational life, faultless operation, operational availability, maintainability, performance retention index, cost-effectiveness, etc.) correspond to the level of their best world counterparts. The pumps’ design has been developed taking into account requirements of the standard API 610. The units are manufactured at the maximum level of operational compatibility, with the minimum number of external connection points. In total, HMS Group has supplied 135 pumping units to the site.

It is the first time HMS Group completes an order for such large-scale modules as those designated for the Central Oil Gathering Station at the Vankorskoye Oil Field. Despite this, the specialized construction and mounting division of the Group, Sibkomplektmontazhnaladka JSC, has accumulated vast positive experience of construction, installation, and commissioning of complete package and complex production equipment in similar conditions. The largest projects implemented in the last few years include:

  • construction of the oil metering unit at the Demyanskaya Pumping Station for OJSC “Tyumenneftegaz” (2006);
  • construction of the Taezhnaya and the Molchanovo Oil Pumping Stations for OJSC “AK “Transneft” (2006);
  • construction of the Purovskiy Plant for Gas Condensate Processing for OAO “NOVATEK” (2005);
  • development of the Senomanskaya Deposit of the Pestsovaya Area at the Urengoy Oil Condensate Field (construction of the central gas processing facility) for OJSC “Gazprom” (2005);
  • development of the Krapivinskoye Oil Field (construction of the oil treatment facility) for OJSC “Tomskneft” (2004).
